We are always looking for people interested in joining our organization.

Membership is open to anyone who loves horses and enjoys classical horsemanship.

Opportunities:

* meet and develop friends among the horse owners and riders of southeastern Iowa and western Illinois

*dressage instruction opportunity from an experienced, excellent instructor, Genelle Royer, with rate reduced for GRCHA members only

*workshops hosted by members on topics including despooking, introduction to jumping, quadrille riding and fun events

*member-only workshops or activities such as the Ride-A-Test Program that are free or at reduced prices

*trail rides hosted by GRCHA members at Shimek and other locations

*co-sponsor of trail riding competition with ITRA

*bi-monthly electronic newsletter that keeps you posted on club activities, happenings in the area, horses or horsey things for sale

*fellowship at cookouts, dinners and get-togethers

*USDF membership for less than individual USDF membership (included in GRCHA membership)

*USDF Connections monthly magazine with educational articles

*additional benefits of USDF membership

*Free or low-price audit opportunities for professional clinics hosted by members

All this, for only $42 per year for adults; $62 per year for a family. Dues must be submitted before Nov. 30 to get both GRCHA and USDF membership for the full year.

GRCHA membership is available at any time but USDF membership is updated quarterly.
